Bruschetta Topped Flatbread Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
| 1 | large flatbread, such as focaccia | |
| 2 tbsp | Compliments Sensations Toscano PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil | 30 mL |
| 2 | tubs Compliments Roasted Garlic Bruschetta Topping | 454 g |
| 1 | pkg. Compliments Goat’s Milk Cheese Crumbles | 113 g |
| 1 tsp | pepper | 5 mL |
| 1/2 cup | freshly torn fresh basil | 125 mL |
Recipe Directions
- Preheat barbecue to medium.
- Slice flatbread in half horizontally. Brush each cut side with olive oil. Place cut side down on grill and cook until crisp, about 3 minutes.
- Flip breads over, top each with 1 tub of bruschetta topping, then sprinkle with cheese crumbles. Close lid and cook until heated through, about 4 minutes.
- Remove to large wooden board. Season with pepper, basil and a drizzle of olive oil. Cut into wedges.
