Recipe Directions
- Preheat barbecue to high heat, clean grill well and lightly oil grill.
- Slice one lemon and one orange into ½-inch (1 cm) thick slices. Skewer the citrus slices between the 6 skewers. Cut remaining citrus fruits in half.
- Grill citrus slices until caramelized and marked on both sides, about 2 minutes per side; remove. Grill citrus halves cut side down until well-caramelized and warm, 5 to 8 minutes.
- Squeeze and strain the juice from the grilled halves into a pitcher. Stir in honey and a pinch of salt until dissolved. Add cranberry cocktail, wine, carbonated water and ice. To serve, put a citrus swizzle stick and a thyme sprig in each glass.
