Recipe Ingredients

1 large Vidalia onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp Compliments Pure Olive Oil 30 mL
Salt and pepper
2 boxes Compliments Sensations The New Yorker burgers
1 rosemary or plain focaccia bread
1 Compliments Camembert Cheese 170 g
Compliments Sensations Honey & Garlic Mustard
 

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat barbecue to medium on one side and medium-high on other side.
  2. Toss onion slices in olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Seal tightly in a foil pouch.
  3. Place onions over medium heat. Place burgers over medium-high heat and grill according to package directions, flipping onions and burgers at the same time.
  4. Cut focaccia in half horizontally. Cut each half into 4 even pieces. Slice camembert cheese.
  5. Lightly grill bread. Brush liberally with mustard and top with roasted onions. Place cheese on burgers and cook just until cheese lightly melts. Place burgers on onions and serve open faced.
