Preparation instruction

Oven: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease muffin cups or line with large paper liners. Add 1/2 package (875 mL or 3 1/2 cups) of muffin mix into a mixing bowl. Break up any lumps. Add 325 mL (1 1/3 cup) cold water and 1 lightly beaten egg. Mix ingredients just until blended. Divide batter evenly among 12 prepared large muffin cups. Bake in centre of oven, 18 to 20 minutes. Let muffins cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Makes 12 large muffins. Since ovens vary in temperature, these are guidelines only.
